What is the difference between cable and fibre internet?

Cable and fibre internet are different types of internet connections that use different technologies to transmit data. Cable internet uses a combination of coaxial cables and modems to transmit data. It is widely available in many areas and is typically faster than DSL internet. However, cable internet speeds can be affected by the number of users on the network, and during peak usage times, the speed may slow down. Additionally, cable internet is more susceptible to interference and signal loss over long distances. Fiber internet , on the other hand, uses optical fibres to transmit data. These fibres are made of glass or plastic and can transmit data over much longer distances than traditional copper wires. Fibre internet is considered to be faster and more reliable than cable or DSL internet, with speeds that can reach up to 10 Gbps (gigabits per second). Additionally, fibre internet is less affected by the number of users on the network, so speeds are more consistent, and als...
